Business Analyst / SME - SCM - Mumbai - Gurgaon
Domain:
Should have working knowledge of
- Hydrocarbon industry including Upstream, Downstream and or petrochemical manufacturing.
- Understanding of the complete supply chain process including planning, forecasting, inventory control, logistics management.
Hands on experience in
ü Evolving and maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems.
ü Designing and generating weekly and monthly statistical forecast reports
ü Improving forecasting techniques, method, and approach
ü Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed.
ü Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast.
ü Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets.
ü Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends.
ü Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management.
ü Facilitating consensus between functional experts (Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance, and IT) Responsible for the developing, documenting, and executing a global comprehensive logistics and distribution strategic plan which will drive optimal customer service and profitability.
ü Manage and optimize a global supply chain logistics network with multiple distribution centers.
ü Identify and implement best in class technology, infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that underlie a supply chain operation.
ü Procurement of materials and spare parts, managing inventory based on demand.
Technical :
- Knowledge of software such as, SAP-MM, SAP – PP, SAP-LE, PIMS, Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical capabilities and exposure to business intelligence
- Ability to define Requirements / Storyboards for Product Development
- Ability to disseminate domain knowledge to development team and respond to queries of development team on requirements
Academic Qualification
B.E. / B. Tech / M.
