Dot Net Architect- Mumbai/ Gurgaon

Role: Dot Net Architect

Responsibilities include:

·As an architect will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project or modules.

·Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles

·Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibilities

·Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise, while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day to day work

·Has the ability to respond to detailed queries

·Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review

·Responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring junior members in the team to help them scale up faster

·Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills with ability to lead team meetings, gather requirements, and arrive at technical decisions

Must Have:

·8+ years of experience designing and developing complex .NET systems specifically web based applications

·Strong C#, .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, VS.NET (.NET 3.5) and MOSS 2007 experience

·2+ years experience in development using SharePoint Object model.

· Experienced in developing SharePoint custom workflow.(Not enhancing SDK template or SharePoint Designer workflow)

·Experienced in custom development for Site Definition, List Definition, Content Type, Web Parts, CAML.

·Above 90% of SharePoint development time is using VS2008.  (Not SharePoint designer)

·Experienced in either WSPBuilder and/or  VSeWSS v1.3.  VSeWSS v1.3 is a plus

·2+ years experience developing applications with HTML/JavaScript/AJAX

·2+ years experience with XML, XSD, XSL, Web Services, SOAP, SOAP Extensions

·2+ years experience with IIS, Oracle/SQL Server (SQL, Stored Procedures)

·Extensive experience with Design Patterns

·N-Tier development experience

·Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Extreme Programming)

·Database Design and Object Relational Mapping Design and Implementation

·Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills with ability to lead team meetings, gather requirements, and arrive at technical decisions

Preferred Skills:

·  Designing & Implementation using generic architecture

· In depth knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL server
