Essential Skills:

Desktop and Browser based interface, User Interface Design principals and Human Factors Design Engineering, creating wireframes and finished screens, Graphical Elements, iconography, UI specifications

Responsibilities:

He/She will responsible for designs of the graphical layout for Products (Desktop & Web).

Serve as the primary point of contact between the usability /UX and the development teams, effectively managing deliverables.

He/She should possess strong hands on visual background and web design experience.

He/She should have ability to own the Usability / UI deliverables as a whole. Apply usability heuristics to design problems. Understand various research, design and user testing methods. Understand the technical limitations of Internet technology. Evaluate the presentation layer of common software packages. Understand Desktop and Web technical constraints vs. client/server. Understand various prototyping tools and techniques. Define the Information Architecture (Sitemap Process Flows & Wireframes).

Hands on experience of successfully designing enterprise-scale, multi-tier, desktop and web-based e-business applications. Experience with rich-client interfaces and RIA UX.

Experience designing and developing UI patterns and reusable components ,Experience with Java, J2EE, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, and WebSphere Application Server.

Expert knowledge of AJAX, Flex, Action scripting 3.0, JSP. DOJO , Expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ability to understand existing business challenges and coming up with up innovative solutions

Should have proven experience of designing multi product UI platforms and architecture ,Past involvement in all phases of the Development process.

Capable of running brainstorming sessions to elicit business requirements, creating wireframes, story boards, producing finished screens, writing UI specifications, and building working prototypes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience. Dreamweaver, Visio, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.

Familiarity with the latest UI technologies and toolkits for building rich experiences in a browser based interface. Understanding of User Interface Design principals and Human Factors.

Key Skills:

Hands on expert level use of Adobe Design suit CS4, Dreamweaver, Flash, Action scripting, Silverlight Expression Studio, and common graphic designing software like Photoshop, CorelDraw etc. Expert knowledge and implementation skills of web page creation using DHTML, CSS, HTML and javascript.

To be considered for this position ideally you will be qualified to degree level in art/graphic design. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of technologies with respect to UI design and can work closely with teams of Usability experts, Web Designers and design Developers
